Hubby took off today using one of his many personal days. I pick on him about that all the time cuz I never got personal days and he has like 7 or something crazy and that's not including his vacation. So he took off so he would have 5 days off since his schedule changes this week it worked out that way. We decided earlier on in the week to go today since it was suppose to be the nicest day and told N's teachers so he wouldn't get "in trouble". I've been really wanting to go to this beach that a few girls at work have been telling me about and it's not far from the house. So off we went to the beach, it is a nice one, and it was a great day not too hot, only downfall the water was ice cold. We only got our feet wet. Ok, M did end up falling into in when she was trying to "grab" for the water, and ended up getting her whole side and hat wet. It was a nice size beach, not to huge and you didn't feel like you were getting trampled on every time someone walked by. We found a nice little spot a little farther from the water then I would have liked but I opted to leave the kids tent in the car (cuz it looked really busy) and it was the only "shady" spot. It just meant that I had to walk a little farther w/N to get him water in his bucket! We had a great time, the kids had a blast. N has been to the beach 3 other times(his first he was already 1), so he knew what was going on. M has only been on other time and she was only about 5 months, she liked it right away(kept trying to eat the sand) then I took her to this little hill I found to take some pictures of her and she started walking, well then she was having a ball once she figured out she could walk. I got some really good pictures(and hubby got a GREAT picture) here you go.
M in her new (old school) shades!

She kept trying to take them on and off

N dumping sand on top of himself
(he did this a few times through out the day)

N being cute!

And my FAVE M and Mommy
(this was not a posed pic! Hubby had taken a few of us and I thought he was done, so I was trying to get M to put her foot in the water and this is what you get!)
