Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!

We had a wonderful Christmas! The kids like every Christmas got tons of toys...they are so blessed!

Yesterday I made cookies for Santa, so N helped me put them out with milk and carrots. I keep telling him that Santa was going to bring him and M presents when they were sleeping and we put the key on the front door. And off to bed they went.
Hubby got off early which was great since the kitchen that Grandma got N was a little more work then I thought it was going to be. It took us about 2 hrs to get it done!
At.....N got us up. After changing diapers and getting the camera we put down the gate so the kids could see what Santa left.

N's reactionIt took N a while to go after the presents he just wanted to play with the kitchen. M wasn't really into the unwrapping as she was to get her hands on the toys.

M and her first Cabbage Patch
This is from the other day, but this was her reaction to all the Amazing Animals she got and there was a lot!
The kids and most of their toys
Grandma came over today, which was wonderful. I made a ham that came out GREAT, if I do say so myself and I made a few sides. The kids enjoyed it! N got to show Grandma how much he loved his kitchen and M got a piano, that she has been dancing to all night! I knew she would like it, but the girl is in LOVE with it!!
Daddy got some toys too, he got some attachments for his Wii and some cool shirts. I got a few things this year mostly my new camera which I really got about 2 weeks ago(don't tell Santa), just cuz I really wanted to play with it!! I also got a really cute purse and matching wallet!
I hope everyone got what they wanted I'm off to relax!!

6 More Days!!

I haven't updated it a week! I can't believe it. M has had me up at all hours of the night so by the time I get N down for the night, I'm so tired and off to bed myself. I'm not really sure what's wrong with her. Some of it is separation anxiety, and some of it is cuz she's getting at lest one tooth one the top if not 2. The other one is also pretty close to popping through. Right now M is napping and N is watching Transformers AGAIN!

Christmas is in less than a week and I'm not quite done shopping. I know that's totally odd for me I'm usually done by now!I only have few things to pick up I just haven't had a chance to, so hopefully Friday before our playdate at the mall I can get it done. Other than that everything is ready! The house is decorated....Though I learned I need more decorations, I have lots of serving things not a lot of things to decorate with.

I did have to go get a bowl for Reindeer treats. I have a plate a mug, but last week I realized I didn't have anything for the Reindeer. I found a dipping bowl in the same collection that is the perfect size and it looks sort of like a pet dish, just mini! Then yesterday I realized I don't have a magic Santa key so Santa can come in the house. So I looked online, and called a few stores....Everyone has been out for weeks. I finally found one on Ebay Express and they are in Orlando so I'm hoping it will be here on time and it was a GREAT price. Which is always a good thing!

Magic Santa Key
So I think for the most part everything is ready. We are going to move the tree into the living room Monday night since I really don't want to move the Kitchen anymore than I have to. That thing is heavy just in the box! Plus, that way I can just lock the gate and not have to worry about going back and forth with the presents all morning. Right now the tree is in the kitchen(were if we had a kitchen table that would be) that way the kids don't pull on it, and they have more room to play!

Before I go I want to show off some pictures of the kids I took the other day!

Appointment Updates

Yesterday M had her 6 month well visit-yes 2 months late. Her appointment went really well. She is just over 21lbs and 28ins long, which puts her in the 95th percentile for both height and weight. I knew she was big, but the doctor telling me 95th% was like man she's big! At lest she's staying on track! Her head size was in the 30th percentile, which I thought was weird, but that's still on the same track as it was from the start so the doctor wasn't worried. I did ask the doctor about seeing if she could get an xray of her hips to make 100% sure she doesn't have hip displasa. He had no problems with that since I told him about my dad and how we weren't sure if that's what he had or not, and about my walking problems as a child. He also agreed that if we do it now and she had it, it would be easier to treat and watch. That doctor is our favorite, he really listens to us and he's always up front with us which we like. Over all she's doing good. She'll go back in 6 weeks for the 2nd half of her flu shot and her 9 month shots. We also have N's 3 year well visit at the same time to make it easier on us.

Today N had his Speech Evaluation. He did really well, as far as behaving, though he's usually good anyways. It came down to he is behind in all the areas except for motor skills. Most of it wasn't to behind, but the speech he was very behind. And they think that the other areas were behind cuz of that. Like social skills, yes he's very shy, but they think it also has to do that he can't communicate with other kids. They told me some things to try to help us communicate with him better. Since he's really not into LOOKING at the books right now(he just likes to flip the pages once or twice then it's done) I'm suppose to take pictures of his things (ie ball, cars, M, the cats) and put those in a book/album. Then go through that with him and tell him what it is and try and have him go through it. She also said to take pictures of Milk, Juice, and other things that he wants everyday, put them on the fridge for him so he can point to the picture or bring the picture to us went he wants something. This is suppose to help him not get so frustrated(and me) when he wants something. They also helped me with the paper work to try and get him into the program quicker. Which I thought was so nice of them. Right now we are not sure if he will be starting with the school districts program or Early Steps program. So at the moment it's wait and see who calls and were they send us. I'm just happy that we will be getting some help.

Disney!!

N, M and I went to Disney today!! Ok not disney Disney, but Downtown Disney Marketplace. It's free to just walk around and it has all these shops to go look in, and it's right on this little lake. We went to meet some other April babies. M wasn't so sure about the other babies. She hasn't been around any babies her age yet. Here's the best picture I got of the three girls. It was in front of the princess store.

The April Girls

There was also a Lego store. They had a lot of Lego statues around. There was so many people around I couldn't get a picture of the other statues.
N with the Dragon

On top of one of the store entrances was a HUGE Stitch that spit out water every 3 seconds. I figured that out when I was trying to take the picture and some one told me.
Spiting Water Nathan Waiting for the Water
N had fun and for the most part so did M . I also got to meet some new Mommies which is always good. We hopefully will all be able to meet up again in January, I can't wait! Though this time a little closer to us which will be nice since it was an hour and a half ride one way.

8 Months Old Today

Today my little girl is 8 months old!
In some ways the time as flown by and in others it hasn't. I'm so grateful for how much she's grown. Just 5 months ago we were wondering when she would learn to sit, let along crawling. Now she can sit all by herself, go from sitting to crawling and back again, and CRAWL. I'm so proud of her. I know that some people would be like that's normal for this age she's suppose to be starting that. Well, from her starting to get really behind just a few months ago to being at or ahead of the norm, That's great to me!

She learned today that if she stands on one foot and reaches really far she can reach N on the couch and chair. She really enjoys this when he's eating, cuz he tends to put his plate toward the edge. N on the other hand isn't really enjoying this new game, well at lest when food is involved. M manged to get some rice and peas today, which she loved! When food isn't involved they love this new game...M tries to reaches and touch N and N tries to push her hands off him....Don't worry he's really good, he doesn't really push her it's more pick up the hand then move it back to the edge of the couch. It's quite entertaining since they are both laughing up a storm.

M's hair is starting to get long. I now HAVE to put a hair clip in it everyday or it gets all in her face and she's sitting there trying to push it out of her way. This is really funny when she's trying to crawl cuz she'll wipe the hair away w/one hand at the same time she's moving that same hand to crawl. So she ends up falling, and looking around like what just happened?!

She still looks so much like her daddy even though when I'm looking at a picture of her I see a little of me. I look at them and think that looks like me. It's crazy! I think it's her expressions. We all know there is no dening that she looks like her Daddy with those blue eyes and cute little nose.

The girl LOVES her brother. She will not go to bed at night unless he's in bed(either will he). She is always trying to crawl after him to play with what he's playing with. When N's watching his Tom & Jerry before bed and laughs at the TV so does Ma cuz she thinks he's funny. Those two crack me up sometimes. The other night, I laid them down for bed and about 10 mins later I hear her laughing and giggling, so I go check on her and N goes running to his bed. He was making faces at her and playing. It was so hard to yell at them cuz they were just so cute playing together.
