I'll say it's Official Now

I will now say M is OFFICIALLY walking! Yesterday she was trying to walk a lot but still walking to something just in case she would fall. Well, today she was walking all over grandpa's house(he was watching the kids today). And when we got home she was also walking all over not even going to something(ie wall or table) in case she fell. She was just walking to get where she wanted to go and barely fell. She's also walking more then she's crawling that's the other reason I'm making it official. She's still a little slow and walks sort of like a penguin which is cute. N's been trying to walk like that too when he wants her to follow him. He gets right in front of her and then walks like her so she'll see where he's going. What can I say I love my kids they are just to cute sometimes.

One day he'll hate me

A few months ago I picked up this little dress up set for like $2 thinking it would be great for M later down the road. I opened it up and put it in this box to start a dress up box. Though the only things in it is the girlie jewelry, a pirates cap, and some kid aprons. Well, it's been floating around for a month now w/out being touch well, I guess N finally noticed it and starting playing w/it so OF COURSE I had to take some pictures, and he was more than happy to show the camera what he found. Some day he's going to hate these pictures but I will always love them, and well I guess these will be what Aunt K has on him!

3rd Cake Class

Last night was my third class(only one more to go). It was again a lot of fun, and crazy! T let me borrow her pink and burgundy colors so I could practice and see what color I needed to make the right pink for M's cupcakes. Well, I ended up just buying a big pack since I then needed purple too and in the long run I would more than likely need these colors anyways, so I at the class I was giving them back. At my cupcake class the burgundy had leaked all over and I had pink fingers for two days, I wasn't sure what happened but just figured I didn't make sure it was tight. Well, when I went to give them to her under the burgundy and all the colors under it was covered in the dye! It was a mess. We think the jar had a crack or something so she just throw it away, I feel bad so I'll probably end up getting her another one, even though she said not to worry about it. We were laughing cuz both of us had pink fingers the rest of the night.
Now on to the Cakes!!!
The lighting came out really weird on mine not sure why
On the cake is little bears. I was doing it fast so it's not very detailed.
The teacher did say that my cake was very smooth! Yeah me:)
T's Cake
Now she was trying out a new tip, pan, and also trying out colors, her son's 3rd birthday party is the week after M's so she wanted to show her son the colors so he could pick one. It's a cute pan, but she thinks she's going to get a 3D car pan instead.
I was talking to T about how I wanted to take the next class but not sure when and she said she would take Course 2 with me(not 3 since it's fondant and she doesn't want to do that). So I'm super excited! Now we just have to figure out when we can get that in!
I posted twice today so don't forget to read the post below this one it's also new!

Presents

As you all know M's birthday is coming up and since most of our family is far away, when a birthday is coming that means at lest a week in advice I need to be on the look out for packages. N LOVES packages I swear he thinks that the UPS man just brings presents nothing else. As soon as they come if we aren't trying to open that package he will try and find the scissors or something to open it for you. Anyways, this is what happened yesterday when M's FIRST birthday present came. So I didn't get to take any pictures of her opening it since I wasn't home, but here is a picture of what she got!
How come the kids get their presents on time? ;) Love you and Thank you!
Today we knew that UPS would be dropping off one present, but we got an extra surprise when the mail man handed us a box. M's second present, and yes I got pictures of her opening this one. She's really silly with presents she was being a little shy with it and she would only use one hand the silly thing! Like it would bite her or something.

LOVE the pink dress.....M had one like just like it when she was smaller and it was so cute on her(same company too) I've been trying to find ones like it for awhile so thanks
Then after we got home from picking up N from school the present we were waiting for came. The box is almost at tall as M, by the way has been having a ball w/the box.

Her Chair!

I told you she would LOVE it! The girl has been sitting in it all night. Thank you!

Quick Update

This will be quick cuz I'm really tired and have to work in the morning, but I wanted to share M's news!

As I've said before, Little Miss M has been stubborn when it comes to trying to walk. Well, today M and I went to the mall to play in the play area. At one point there was a bunch of other kids there and she wanted to be by them, so she crawled over and then trying to use the kids to cruise to the other side of the group. Well, in her excitement she let go and took a step, and didn't fall! Very exciting by itself right. Later when we were home, N was playing w/his play dough at the table. M keep trying to get at N. All of a sudden, she took two steps from one chair to the other! It was very slow steps, but steps then she did it again from the chair to the microwave stand and then back to the chair. I was so proud of her!! Then it was the end of it. I tried to get her to do it again and she wouldn't have it. O'well, it was good while it lasted.

OK I'm off to bed! Hopefully I'll post tomorrow night and show you pictures of our 2nd cakes from class.

Easter '08

Happy Easter Everyone!

Friday we dyed Easter Eggs since daddy was off. From last year I already know that this was going to be a blast for N. He made such a mess last year, but had fun! So this year I laid down wax paper all over my new table, and then put a towel over N's chair(good thing too, cuz he ended up spilling some). He had a blast like I thought. I had gotten this roller dying set along w/a regular set. The roller set we will not get again it dyed through the eggs, and was a HUGE mess.
Daddy helping N color an egg orange
You can sort of tell in the picture, N dropped this egg pretty hard in the cup that it made a huge splash The eggs all done! Can you pick out the 3 that daddy and I did?!
This morning we got to spent a little time w/daddy before he had to go to work. It was nice the kids opened their Easter baskets. N loved his, M liked hers but like everything, she was more interested in N's.

N is trying to tell M to look at her basket.
She's still sleeping, she's like her Mommy and Daddy, not a morning person.

N opening his basket
N's basket unwrappedM's basket unwrapped N showing me the cars he got in his basket(yes they are upside down :)) M not waiting for me to open her box
After baskets, N found eggs, he was so cute cuz when he found one he would point at it and say "egg!" then he would wait for us to say "well, go get it". Like he had to make sure it was ok.

N finding an egg
And another one
and M "found" one. Mommy helped a little.

M finding her FIRST egg Trying to show Mommy (I was zoomed in a little to close) though it ended up being a cute picture

Then we had eggs for breakfast(well, the kids and me, hubby doesn't really like plain hard boiled eggs). Apparently N is like his daddy and doesn't like them either, he spit it out, which for him is totally out of character. M only liked the yolks. O'well the rest will be made into either deviled eggs or egg salad.

The rest of the day was laided back, N and I went outside for a little while and he got "dressed up". That is in khakis and a polo shirt. He looked so cute I tried to get a picture of him, but he wasn't having it O'well. Then we watched a movie and he helped me practice one making a crown for M's birthday cupcakes.

After M's morning nap(really the only one the girl had today) I put her in her dress just cuz, and got some really good pictures of her. Then of course she got a hold of a chocolate egg and the dress was done for the day. That and the fact the the poor thing couldn't crawl in it, she keep trying, and it wasn't working for her, though it was cute to watch.

I hope everyone had a great Easter and I'll leave you w/some of the pictures I got of M.

Her cute smile
Being silly! She keep playing w/the skirt

The best of them all

He Found it!!!

For Christmas I got M 2 pairs of earrings, one was from Daddy and Mommy(some "diamond" stars) and the other pair was from N(pink "diamond" flowers). Well, she had the flower ones in for awhile and then one night she lost one(the first one we ever lost!) I was upset, I found the backing, but never could find the flower part. I then put in the stars, which I should have know better, they weren't the screw backs, and she lost both of them one night, though I ended up finding one of the stars later that day. This was back in January, and I HUNTED for those earrings, vacuumed the all under her crib then went through what I vacuumed(it was just the hand vac). I had given up all hope of finding those earrings, so for the last month I've been hitting the jewelry counter at Walmart checking to see if they had gotten the flowers back in yet. I have been to 3 different ones and to our main one at lest twice a week, and they finally got ONE pair yesterday morning so I picked it up.
This morning hubby was letting me sleep in a little while he got the kids changed and everything, when he comes in the bedroom and says "Isn't this what you have been looking for?" It was the other flower earring! I was so excited and a little upset cuz I just picked up the other pair! I guess it was all tangled up in the carpet so when he had to get some diapers(I store the extra ones under the crib) he felt something poke him.....it was the earring! He tried to look for the star one too, but no luck!

I'm off to work, so I'll post our dying of the Easter eggs later.
