Around Here

There isn't to much going on here, this week hubby changes over to his new work schedule, so he gets extra days off which is great, and I only work two days and they are spread out so I'm happy about that. One of the really nice things about the new schedule is that I will have a day in between working, hopefully this will help me not feel so drained like I have been the last few weeks.
On Wednesday after I came home, M started fussing a little in bed so I went and checked on her she had a 103 temp. After some meds and 45 mins later we did get down to 101, before we decided to try and get some sleep too. Thursday she woke up fine didn't seem warm was playing. She didn't eat any dinner, then we went to therapy found out she couldn't be there til 24hr after a fever, about an hr later she was back up to 102. The girl has never had a fever over 101 so twice in 12hrs I called the dr to get her checked out. The dr thinks it's just a start of a viral infection, so we are just to keep her drinking, and if she gets really bad runny nose or coughing call them. She's a tough cookie, she's still playing(not quite up to her par but playing). She's still not eating a ton, and having some really fussy moments, but doing good. The fever is still coming and going so we'll see.
N is doing great he's talking up a storm. He's excited about M's party and his best friends party and his cousins coming. It's really cute in the morning he'll be excited about one thing and by afternoon it's another then he'll switch it up again. I guess he just can't decide what he's most excited about.
Talking about M's party I still can't believe she'll be 2 in 2 weeks! After a few weeks of debating, we decided on a Build-A-Bear party. Since it will only be 5 kids(That's counting mine) it will be the same amount as getting all the food and supplies this way everyone gets a bear and I don't have to clean up or set up. I will still make cupcakes for everyone, just cuz I LOVE doing that. And M loves Build-A-Bear(so does N). It should be fun!

Where I've been

Sorry I've been "gone" for awhile. It's all cuz of my new hobby! I taught myself to crochet about a month ago and since then I've been working on a afghan for N every chance I had. I have had many moments that I thought "I want to blog about this" then it comes time for the kids to go to bed and I'm off to crochet more on the afghan I haven't even played on World of Warcraft in a month which is crazy I was jumping on that almost every night for at lest an hr. Anyways, besides that it really hasn't been to interesting around here. I've been working a lot, which is crazy since work has been slow, but someone left and we had inventory so the store has been short people. Works out for me, though I feel like I've been busy everyday for the last few weeks.
The next few months are going to be crazy! Our good friend's son's party the next week, we have M's 2nd birthday, which I'm still not sure what I'm doing yet. Then we have all of hubby's siblings and all their kids coming down for Easter break. Which I'm so excited about. First we haven't seen them in a year and all the cousins haven't ever all been together, so that should been really neat! After that we have a few weeks before it's more birthdays and then Tony and Sarah's wedding! Another big thing I can't wait for! So that's all the fun stuff to come up in the next 2 months!

Another post-op appointment

This is from the other day....I must have been tired cuz I posted this on my craft blog

I was so nervous about this appointment today. I just haven't felt like my jaw is opening as much as it should and was very worried about that fact. The dr told me today that everything looked good and my opening ability was coming along good. Which was really nice to hear since I was worried about it. He also said the the few "pops" I'm hearing when I open really wide sometimes, is ok. I just have to watch how much I "push" myself on what I'm eating. I'm so relieved I don't need to go back unless I have an issue in the future, which is great.

Been awhile

Sorry everyone it's been awhile since I last posted. I managed to be able to work three days last week so I was a little worn out. I've also been working on N's blanket/afghan pretty much every night. N's really excited about it and keeps wanting to take the strips to bed, so I'm trying to finish it up for him. That's a whole other blog lol!
Things around here are really good. We(ok me) are getting ready for my little brother's upcoming wedding. Last week I went and had N measured for his tux. He's going to look so cute! I've been trying to explain what he's going to do and that him and mommy get to go in a limo with Aunt S. He's excited, but I don't know if he totally understands it yet.
M finally learned how to give kisses. Before if you asked her to give you a kiss she would give you her cheek for you to kiss her. Than about a month ago I was starting to get her to give me kisses about 50% if the time, but this last week I can get them pretty much every time I ask and even more some days. She's also finally giving them to Daddy too. Though she'll still try and get him to give her one first. She knows she's a Daddy's Girl that's her issue lol!

Therapy

I just found out today that M will start speech therapy next week. I'm SOOO happy! She also got her OT back today which was great. She had surgery to remove a cyst, around the same time I had my TMJ surgery. It was great to see her. Tomorrow we go see a Developmental Pediatrician which I'm excited about, she's the best in the area. I'm just hoping she tells us we are doing everything we need to for her and she will grow out of all the delays.
Other than that fun news, M's feeling better, she just had a bad cold. N's been moody lately I'm not sure what is up with him. Some days you tell him not to do something and he'll just cry about it for an hr(and I so wish I was joking on the time).

Sickness

Well after my last post of course the next day M seemed fine so I figured she ate something bad. She's been fine the last few days, but last night she was up a few times crying, we couldn't figure out why. Then today the poor thing has been miserable. She woke up with a runny nose and it hasn't stopped. She barely took a nap, or even eaten much. At one point she was just crying for 2hrs straight. I gave her cold meds and Tylenol, but they took forever to kick in. Unless she amazingly gets better, she'll be going to the doctors Monday. I swear the girl always gets sick on the Friday nights or Saturdays. Then we have to help her "suffer" through the weekend til we can get her meds and help her feel better on Monday.

Fingers crossed!!

Today(and really a little yesterday) M has been sticking her finger in her ear. I was really hoping it wasn't anything, she was just zoning off and doing it, but today she throw up and had runny diapers, so I think there will be a call into the dr's tomorrow, I'm really hoping she doesn't have an ear infection, but I'm pretty sure she does. She never gets fevers when she gets them so it's really hard to tell. I have my fingers crossed.
